Angelique Mercurio draws upon more than a decade of experience from major investment banks including Barclays Capital, Citigroup, and Lazard.  She has advised a range of public and private sector clients, from Fortune 100 oil & gas producers to institutional investors, on U.S. policy developments in energy and environmental markets, including natural gas shale, carbon trading, transportation & fuels, and smart grid sectors.

Prior to founding Energy Solutions Forum, Angelique played a key role in the development of a US Environmental Markets platform at Barclays Capital.  As the firm’s US carbon policy expert, she advised on regulated energy transactions across its Commodities, Investment Banking, and Principal Investments businesses. During her time consulting Wall Street clients on U.S. energy policies, Angelique knew first-hand the difficulty of tracking policy information across the fragmented government landscape.

She realized the need for a more efficient process was widely shared across the industry.  So with that in mind, Angelique founded Energy Solutions Forum to provide financial institutions with a streamlined source of U.S energy policy information to support investment decisions across the industry, from oil and gas, to environmental commodities, to renewable power technologies, and beyond.

Their primary tool, EnerKnol is an energy policy data portal that offers the scalability of a technology enterprise product. Angelique's goal was to develop a platform to help energy analysts like myself, as well as traders, consultants, utilities and other industry participants, to navigate the complex and fragmented nature of US energy policy.
