As the “Wicked” mastermind, I founded Wicked Start to help small business owners and early-stage entrepreneurs realize their dreams of starting a new business. Collaborating with a team of successful founders who share this vision, we’ve been able to create a suite of tools, resources, and a supportive community to help aspiring entrepreneurs manage the business startup process, each step of the way. As a conscious entrepreneur, I believe in the power of collaboration, creating positive energy, and fostering a dynamic environment for growth. We can build successful and meaningful new business opportunities that are here for the long term.
I was raised in Wisconsin but moved to New York over 15 years ago, bringing with me a commitment to hard work and good humor (but no cow-tipping – ever). I have over 15 years' experience in finance and entrepreneurship, having successfully founded multiple businesses. Prior to Wicked Start, I cofounded NuKitchen, a direct-to-consumer online gourmet diet-meal service. Leveraging our proprietary order management system, we built a scalable multi-million dollar business model with national distribution capabilities. After five years at the helm and serving thousands of customers, we sold the business to Nutrisystem, a national weight-loss company.
I’ve devoted my life to small business and entrepreneurial growth. Through my efforts in the nonprofit world, I’ve been able to help build and grow businesses across this nation as an active board member of the Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO) and StartOut.
